The fire is brilliant! And the beach scenes…well, I think they’re rather special 🙂

Huzzah for Photoshop experimentation!

They are awesome. I hope you took them with enough detail to blow them up. You could easily get a website going and sell prints.

With the sunburst one, you might want to tone back your copyright to a duller grey, it distracts a little. Tha being said, it actually suits the communing photo!

yeah…they were all taken at 8MP, some are RAW images, some just JPEG.

I’d love to get a website going and sell some work but have no idea how. Am also aiming to have an exhibition next year before I leave here.

The copyright thing is just for me putting them on lj. I want to learn to do borders and write my name there instead of on the images, but so far have been unsuccessful at working out borders on Photoshop.

gypsyamberSeptember 8, 2005 - 10:37 pm

ooh..you like the fire? I hadn’t made up my mind yet if I liked it or not.

kowariSeptember 8, 2005 - 10:45 pm

Ask Tom – he is a photoshop guru

psuedonym777September 8, 2005 - 11:09 pm

Yes. I will second the fire.

Also I like Ophelia in Bass Relief.

I cant figure out the surreal fire one, but i’ve been stareing at it for quite a while

its got me intrigued. Photoshop is the best. Work just brought me the latest version 🙂

Supercool. My faves are A Storm This Way Comes, and Ophelia, Bas Relief.

whitmanschildSeptember 9, 2005 - 1:25 am

For the border, can’t you just select and copy your image and then either resize the canvas to make yourself a border or paste it into a larger canvas with the same effect? Hell, if Photoshop can’t do it, never dismiss the raw image manipulation powers of MS Paint…

This, of course, assumes that when you say “border,” that I understand what you’re talking about–just some solid-filled space surrounding your image…

gypsyamberSeptember 9, 2005 - 5:22 am

me too. I added one of my fave quotes and have it as my desktop now

gypsyamberSeptember 9, 2005 - 5:23 am

Woohoo!!!! yay for cool work perks!

psuedonym777September 9, 2005 - 5:26 am

Nice. What’s the quote?

gypsyamberSeptember 9, 2005 - 5:38 am

Work like you don’t need money,
Love like you’ve never been hurt
And dance like no one’s watching – Anon.

gypsyamberSeptember 9, 2005 - 5:38 am
