Hello all….Kitling has worked her magic and here I am, actually posting, rather than just commenting. Not sure yet how much I will post, not entirely keen on all and sundry being able to read my thoughts, but I really like the little emotion icons! I have ummed and aahed about having an lj, mainly because a lot of friends won’t be able to access it and I’m still getting around to keeping my non-mailing list friends in the loop as to what’s happening for me. But I have really enjoyed being able to read about the everyday stuff of friends back home, the sort of stuff that doesn’t seem important enough to write a letter about but is really nice to hear anyway. And yesterday I started a post to my mailing list, but it didn’t really seem the sort of thing to clutter ppl’s inboxes with, so finally decided to use my lj account for the random stuff that wouldn’t make it to my mailing list anyway.
So, hi to all, and thank-you to those who already have added me as a friend. I feel loved… *big warm fuzzies all round*

I must admit to being very bad in replying to emails and stuff but that does not mean that I don’t love getting them. It is great to hear what you are up to and all the adventures you are having. Things going well here.
