Good to know….

I don’t have tuberculosis, nor do I have pneumonia – cos that’s what I was really worried about when I went to the dr on Monday. I was whisked off for e-rays before a dr even saw me, let alone listened to my chest. As I suspected, it is merely an annoying bout of bronchitis. The dr did enlighten me though on the cause of my coughing fits (you mean they’re not due to the infection irritating my chest?!?) Naturally, being female, I get very nervous when having to speak in front of large groups of people, ie. classes, and this is what causes my coughing fits. Thank-you so much for clarifying that for me! Need I point out any one particular reason why I have less than 100% faith in the doctors over here?!?

This week has consisted of sleep, sleep, the occasional attempt at work and more sleep. My goal: to have fully functional lungs and voice box by next Monday. (I need them to be heard over my oh so genki students)

By the by, a qn for the Melbites: is cam on tonight? Want to call the house of much debauchery and sin at optimal time for speaking to as many people as possible. That time will be after midnight if cam is on….

Sin and Debauchery? Us? Never…

Just checking stuff and saw your query. The Cam session on tonight is not the court game. It is either Mage or Sabbat. So there will not be to many people caught up as there would be if it was a court session.

I to am feeling pretty blah and have booked tickets to roleplay over the weekend in Canberra (Arrgghh does anyone want to take my spot?) Hope you feel better soon and look forward to speaking with you later tonight.

tee hee had fun today when I bought Caroline a magum of champagne – This should be fun to watch.

I feel your Doctor pain.

Sunday I was extremely dizzy and couldn’t leave the couch without falling down. Monday I tried to go to work and nearly fainted in class. I went to the doctor and after a 2 minute examination she said it was just the weather. I was livid.

Then the office lady tried to make me take Nenkyu for the rest of the day. Riiiiiiight.

Get well soon, though!

The Dr. sounds right to me!

You weak female types, always coughing your lungs up when you are nervous (which is pretty much all of the time, right?)

I’m surprised he didn’t tell you to get back in the kitchen where you belong and stop trying to do a man’s job like teaching.

That’s bullshit…that’s what byokyu is for…grrr! I don’t blame you being livid. I hope you’re feeling better now….

gypsyamberJune 11, 2004 - 6:51 am

I’m sure he wanted to!

Great doc.. Did you give him an earful, y’know, disprove his theory about women?

gypsyamberJune 11, 2004 - 2:40 pm
