1:57 PM: Zac has a new game: Copy Me! He claps and we have to clap. He raises his hands in the air and we must follow suit. He covers his ears, we do too. He thinks this is so much fun. He started playing this game a week or so ago.
He also brushes his teeth now – an achievement I was both excited by and amazed at. I decided to have another go at brushing his teeth and started by brushing my teeth, then asking if I could brush his teeth. He bared his teeth and enjoyed the sensation of having them brushed. The next step was for him to brush his teeth, which he does quite adorably. The latest development is that he now brushes my teeth too – so cute!

7:42 PM: Thinking about how my blog has changed, I’m changing the appearance and Rafe suggested I change the name to Cafe Mama. Very tempting, I do like the name however I don’t know how much longer I can go to cafes! Zac has such a short time of being happy being strapped into a stroller or high chair before he wants OUT!
Today he started yelling in response to babies crying in the next room (a mothers’ group meeting I’m guessing). When he spotted the other babies he struggled and back arched and cried, trying to get out of the pram to go and play.

6:04 PM: Zac has started walking with assistance this weekend. He just started cruising a little last weekend and this weekend he has been walking whilst holding on to Rafe’s hands. Even as he gets tired, he will stop for a breather but will not relinquish daddy’s hands! He must master this walking thing!!! Today he also took his first step unaided. Literally one step forward with one leg before plonking down again. I only just saw it as I noticed him pulling to standing using our bedroom door, I turned to get a better look and caught the moment where he let go of the door and took one step! *squee*

7:49 PM: Today Zac came over to me while I was making his dinner, pulled up on me, held up his arms and grabbed my hands when I reached down. He then proceeded to steer me around so he could go walking! We did three laps of TV to front door and he only relinquished my hands when his legs were no longer able to support him. I now know exactly how we’ll keep him entertained on the flight to Singapore
