Jottings (catch-up) – May 3, 2012

3:14 PM Zac was sick yesterday; so sad and clearly feeling terrible. All he wanted was to sit on my lap and be read books all day. I read to him, Sue read to him I read some more to him, Rafe read to him. Sue and I took him to The Little Bookroom to get some new reading material and he perked up when he realized where he was. Our little boy is definitely a book lover!

Note (June 15, 2012): We knew that Zac liked books before this point, but this week was definitely the point at which we realised just how much Zac loves books. I created a proper reading nook in his bedroom which he goes to every day at some point for some quiet book’n’snuggle (with teddy) time. On the plane to Singapore, it was the books which were the most favoured item out of the things we packed. After this bout of illness, he started just demanding that Rafe read to him in the mornings. I*love* that he is so into books. Love it!
