why is it

whenever someone travels somewhere different, we tell them to travel safely or be safe or take care. We do not say this everytime a housemate or family member or friend gets in a car. Yet the warning is just as valid. The wish for them to remain safe is still there. We just assume that they will be safe because it’s the everyday norm, nothing unknown, nothing to fear from crazy buses, third-world hospitals, street vendor food, tsunamis and strangers.
Why is it you can travel the world, go through all sorts of potentially dangerous situations and get back to ‘safe ground’ only to have your wind thoroughly whooshed from you and rump planted firmly on the ground that is our mortality.
Thank-you grace for the timely reminder, but more importantly thank-you for just rubbing my nose in it rather than dragging me down for the full body rash. I don’t think I would or could ever recover from the full body rash. Please leave your reminder at this.

NB. If you know who this is, please do not ask them about it. They do not want to talk. Instead, please send white light and love.

It’s a discrepancy that I have also wondered about. Sending support to you and you can pass it it on to the unknown source of the reminder. I think we don’t let the possibilities in to our everyday life because there is so much that could go wrong and it would be debilitating. It is all just more reason to love and live every moment like it matters. There will be hugs in person for you soon.

Its a dangerous busines stepping out your front door

Because of the long distances that many of my family travel just to visit any other memeber I is something that I say regularly I even say take care to Adam when he goes off to work. I am so glad that said person is relatively OK given the potential for disaster.
I forgot to mention that they would also be welcome to turn up to the Sunday event should they so desire

Thank-you for your hug – I received it just before Shanta arrived. It is now by my bedside, along with sand and water from St Kilda beach. Mmm…hugs are good.

Ok, this is just freaky – your post, then the next post in my friends list is waxing lyrical about cars and a car show (from someone you dont know).

I think the world is trying to tell me something.
