You’re really cute when you go all dreamy-eyed.

I will then tell what reminds me of you.
Lions – have no idea why ;-), period settings, stones from the beach, storms and grey, rainy days

If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
Midnight – the witching hour

I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
gallant

I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
You asking if Ivan was going to be a problem! That still makes me chuckle. So many misunderstandings that night! (anything else is not fit to share publicly 😉

I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
yes, something I’ve always wondered, this past month!!! hmm.. oh yes, something of vital importance: Do you like Vegemite?

You seem a vivacious, fun person and you have some gorgeous icons of yourself.

I will then tell what reminds me of you.
Fi and Adam, roleplaying, and now, lj.

If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
9’o’clock – you seem like a morning person – or I’ve been fooled by the mantle of Standard Working Hours

I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
Difficult given how little I know you, but I think I’ll go for “involved” – be it with work, this charity ball, roleplaying or socialising, you strike me as very involved with all in your life.

I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you.
Also difficult, though I think it might be you introducing Rob (at Renee, Nigel and Halo’s bbq) with great flourish as proof that he does exist – until that moment, I hadn’t been aware there was any doubt!

I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you.
hmmmm…What your job actually is – I’m not really clear on it 🙂

derigueurMay 8, 2005 - 2:52 am

Gallant? I like that! Nobody has ever called me gallant, especially as my defining feature! Thankyou!

*bows in an attempt at gallantry*

Oh, and to answer your burning, desperate thirst for knowledge; Yes, I really like Vegemite. I sometimes have it in a cup of hot water when I can’t afford Miso soup 🙂

gypsyamberMay 8, 2005 - 3:05 am

Wow…I just can’t imagine vegemite being a substitute for miso soup.

derigueurMay 8, 2005 - 3:08 am

Well, it ain’t a *good* substitute….but when I want something hot and salty and fluid, and I don’t have all the other things I’d reach for first, Vegemite can fill the hole…

gypsyamberMay 8, 2005 - 3:09 am

fair enough

the_taoMay 8, 2005 - 1:01 pm

Oky then, shoot away…

the_taoMay 8, 2005 - 1:01 pm

You are a compelling GM

I will then tell what reminds me of you
samurais, crystals, heavenly back scratches, Werewolf,

If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be… 1 am, with a full moon and sky uncluttered by buildings and evidence of man.

I will try to name a single word that best describes you
honourable

I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you
Is not suitable to be shared in public 😉 No, actually our correspondence since I came here would make some of the most memorable moments I’ve had with you.

I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you
Have you ever had short hair and if so, do you have photos?!

gypsyamberMay 13, 2005 - 1:25 am

and one for Nat…

A fellow water-loving gypsy!

I will then tell what reminds me of you
runes, gardens, herbs, tea, crystals, particularly Sodalite, greens and blues, the sea, fish, projects assisting women and children, africa

If I were to apply an o’clock to you, it would be…
dusk, as the sun warms the calm ocean and colours it with reds, oranges, purples and pinks, the time when fairies and pixies come out to play.

I will try to name a single word that best describes you
intuitive

I’ll tell you the most memorable moment I’ve had with you
*grins mischievously* ahem. *tells brain to behave itself*
Talking with you many years ago (when you were still in the house with the horrible landlord) at a time when I was feeling very out of place and uncertain whether I could ever really fit in. You showed me different viewpoints, and described aspects of people which I had not been seeing, which in turn encouraged me to lower the barriers I’d started to put up. I’ll never forget that and am always thankful to you.

I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you
How you would react if I *insert suitably wicked suggestion*… *laviscious wink*

Re: ah, another meme. Well, I’m still bored…

9’o’clock – you seem like a morning person – or I’ve been fooled by the mantle of Standard Working Hours

Not a morning person by choice… I start work at 8, as it happens. Well, quarter to 8, actually. *sigh*

I think I’ll go for “involved” – be it with work, this charity ball, roleplaying or socialising, you strike me as very involved with all in your life.

I’d agree with that one. Sometimes I go overboard… it’s certainly better than Rob’s ‘single word’ – he came up with ‘perky’. Yes. Perky.

hmmmm…What your job actually is – I’m not really clear on it 🙂

This is where I curse my bad memory…I believe at a party, involving tequila shots, back scratches and snogging!(cos there’s only ever been one of those *laughs*

I’ll then tell you something that I’ve always wondered about you
What you are like when not struggling with chronic fatigue

lirionMay 17, 2005 - 12:04 pm

you always seem to have a smile ready for everyone.
Thankyou, that’s a lovely thing to say

Half my wardrobe – the other half reminds me of Fi!!!
*grin* It is a bit like that really. Good taste I say! 😉

bubbly’o’clock
Bubbles!!!
I can live with bubbly, though it’s interesting how others percieve me vs how I see myself – I always feel like I must be too tired to come across as bubbly (see reply re CFS)
Or are you just saying that my time of day is the time to open the champers? 😉

lush
I’m going to assume that you’re not actually calling me ‘a lush’, rather just using it as a descriptor ;>

This is where I curse my bad memory…I believe at a party, involving tequila shots, back scratches and snogging!(cos there’s only ever been one of those *laughs*

*smirk* Oh I think I remember one of those – there was even one over the phone 🙂

Will reply re CFS in a seperate comment as I think it will get quite long…

lirionMay 17, 2005 - 12:28 pm

What you are like when not struggling with chronic fatigue
Hard question. I’ve had Chronic Fatigue since I was 15. So what I was like before I had it bears little bearing to who I am now.

That said, it can be reasonably stated that I’m not struggling with it so much now as I was then – it’s still present, but I’m significanty better, particualrly in the last year or so… I can hold down a full time job for starters and that’s something I never knew if I’d be able to do.

I know what it’s like to not be tired allt he time – it was just the intensity that varied.

As a person… More active – actually being able to exercise is incredible for me, being able to swim 1km delights me.
I’m not fundamentally depressed anymore – things still get me down, my current work situation has me depressed, but it’s no longer a fundamental state, which it was when Iw as really sick, it lurked just round the corner and it came hand in hand with the fatigue – very much a chicken or the egg situation.
I’m more confident I think – others certainly seem to think so 😉 (referencing that comment about bubbly o’clock *s*). Confidence takes energy basically. Well for me it does. So if I ahve more energy in general, then I project better.
Less angry I’d like to think… I never meant to be an angry person, or thought I was, evidence suggests otherwise though. Basically tired = grumpy.

And needy. I’m definitely more independent now and loving it.

Don’t know how well this answers your question…Basically I’m me but more so, more stable, more comfortable in who I am, more aware…

I still have bad patches and then yes, a lot of the negatives come back in all areas. But these days it’s not allconsuming.
Hope that helped. Feel free to ask for clarification.
