In the classroom today

I am wearing insulated boots, thick wollen socks, thermal leggings, jeans, thermal top, wollen turtle neck and :two: polar fleece jackets. Tomorrow I may add tights and thermal socks and maybe I won’t get the edges of cold by the end of a period :-/

Hard to believe that just over a week ago I was playing in sprinklers in the wee hours of the morn. *laughs*

But it is so much better now having some serious hardcore warmth-trapping clothing. And bonus: my first two schools are ones which don’t require me to change into slippers/indoor shoes for work. I get to enjoy my new warm, waterproof boots both in and out of work! (small downside being that the other school which has dispensed with the indoor shoe policy is The Zoo – but, *shhhhh*, I’m trying not to tell me)

Isn’t seasonal differences and international travel, just a weird experience?! I’m glad you have good warm clothes now, I know how long you have been wishing for that.

So am I – very glad. It is so heavenly not to have feet of ice and blue hands. I also have two kerosene heaters now, so can mostly keep my apartment toasty warm, not just the kiving room.

Thank-you so much for telling me about Outdoor.com. I’m so happy with everythign I bought there, and they were so helpful.

And yes seasonal differences are wierd. I think my body is pretty good at adjusting but right now I can’t remember how it felt to be so hot last week.
