Overheard on entering staffroom

One of the teachers was sitting at his desk, playing with his bottle of half-frozen green tea. Two students came in and asked what he was doing. He made no comment so they (correctly, I assume) deduced that he had lots of spare time at the moment, and said so. He immediately refuted this, saying he had _no_ spare time at all. Denial at it’s best!

Hey, i didn’t want to reply in nickelodeon’s journal, but yeah, if you see him, please tell him that Jessica Hastings from AKP says yoroshiku. thanks. After i came home from JET, i got married, and now i’m spending a few weeks of the summer in greece with my inlaws. i often wish i stayed in Japan, i miss it sooooo much. i haven’t been able to find a japan-related job yet in the states, but we’re moving next month and maybe i’ll have better luck in new england. Re: that nice guy Blair…

Only just found this comment..for some reason it didn’t come up in my e-mail. Shall do (say yoroshiku to Blair, that is) Where were you when you were here? How long for?
I’m originally from Melbourne, Australia – just finished first yr JET, 3rd year here. Only here for one more, then on to other things. Summer in Greece sounds delish! Good luck with finding a Japan related job.
