You could be forgiven for thinking me a Geek Girl* today. I am working in the computer laps, supposedly giving tech support, with my laptop and external HDD set up beside my work computer. You would be forgiven for thinking that; until you found out that I merely had my HDD and laptop here in order to back up all my photos, now that I have oodles of dvds…. but I forgot to bring the dvds.

*head. desk.*

Le sigh. One day I will get it together.

Fortunately that’s not the entire purpose of my laptop. I am heading citywards to Ted’s Camera House after work, to get four prints organised. Hopefully they will prove to be helpful, professional and capable of listening. Otherwise, Mum’s idea of me sending files to my lab in Japan and getting them to do all my printing will start looking less ridiculous and highly tempting. I miss my lab back there. They never randomly cropped half a person’s face off, in a portrait, because the file was too big. Nor did they insist I need to lower the DPI to 200 and lower the sharpness and quality significantly. So far, not impressed with the leading melbourne professional printers, and in case anyone is ever interested, I do *not* recommend The Edge in Collingwood.

* Don’t worry arienmir, I am not coveting or attempting to steal your title!
