As my previous post mentioned, Shanta is over here, visiting for three weeks from the U.S. of A.
nigelw and kitling have had the excellent idea of having a proper bbq while Shanta is here and have offered to host said australianism.
It will be happening from 1pm, Sunday August 19th.
BBQ, salads and pav will be provided. Footy will be on the tv.
BYO dead animal and drinks.
kitling and nigelw are generously offering their home for all to gather in. Their house rules are easy and really only require common sense:
Respect the cats. Respect the books. Put rubbish and unfinished meals in the rubbish bins in kitchen. If you spill it, clean it up.
People are welcome to bring along friends, provided they are willing to vouch for them.
