Going for broke

A new record: In a 20 minute bus trip in the not so backward city of Kyoto, Shanta and I managed to score 55 stares from ONE old man. And these weren’t glances-out-of-corner-of-eye stares, these were full on, half-turn-the-body-and-crane-the-neck-around stares. 55 of them. 10 occuring at just one stop. very impressive. Go team Gaijin!!!
