I just found out Mr Itou’s wife died this week. Mt Itou was the person who sponsered me to Japan last time. Tomorrow is the funeral. I have no idea what to do at a Japanese funeral, or even if it will be Japanese style. It’s being held at the church as he and his wife are Christians. I’m not sad – Mrs Itou and I never really got along – but shocked.
