A severe case of Mondayitis

Of all the things I wanted to get done today, only one thing has been successful 🙁 Oodles of thanks to nikkicat for reminding me I wanted to go to The Piercing Urge (the one successful thing) and oodles of thanks to kitling for organising passport stuff. Unfortunately ran into a problem where i have to do an OS application which cannot be accepted in Australia. The very helpful man at the PO (the one you told me about, kitling) suggested I just fill in the standard application but that can’t be done as I have no permenant address here. And around and around it goes. He called the office and suggested I go in first thing tomorrow morning and just hope i get someone who will be willing to waive the address requirements. Fingers crossed.
Both Romany Woman and Victorian Gothic were closed, so not even retail therapy to soothe the frustrations! In fact, just added to them as I have some Japanese goth fashion mags to give Louise from Vic Goth.
Now, I really should be doing something about the mess that is my suitcase, but my brain hurts.
Tomorrow I go to the beach. Just St kilda, but still….I will swim and play, imagine I’m at a surf beach and hope for waves to wash away the stress of only having 3 days left here.
whitmanschild, you HAVE to make it out here sometime, preferably when I’m here. So many people want to meet you. I misses you babe, but I’ll be back next weekend with lots of tales and photos to rergale you with *saucy grin*
Now, I have a spare ten minutes….now for a quick squizz at what everyone else has been up to!

Oh my god, do you only have three days left here? I’ve been too caught up in my damn thesis to realise. What a bummer. I was assuming I’d see you at my party, but 16 is a larger number than um (what’s todays date plus three, um.. what’s today’s date? 4th, I give my seminar on the 5th which is tomorrow, so today is 4, right, plus three = 7) than 7. Damn. enjoy the last bits. much love.

I would be very tempted to talk to your mum – see if you can claim her address in geelong is your ‘home address’ – because home is in australia right and the other address is just the place you stay when in japan…

or is that just sophistry

Denied retail therapy?? Curses! Maybe you should carry round a stack of Lucky Dip-style packages, and whenever you get to a store that’s closed, just pull one out and surprise yourself!

Glad you sorted out at least that one thing, though.

Enjoy St. Kilda! I know I did 🙂

Yes, very very glad you came to the bbq, jet-lagged as you may have been. It was good to see you, even ever so briefly. Hope your seminar went well and that the thesis beast is finally wrapping up well. *huge hugs*
