Jetstar

What can people tell me about JetStar?

This is who I’ll be going with, as their fares are way and beyond cheaper than anywhere else. But going the deluxe cheapo seats, do I have to bring my own food and drink? Or is that only for domestic flights? Has anyone flown international with them? If so, what did you think and what should I know before flying with them?

Economy class
On international services operated by A330 aircraft, economy class passengers can pre-select and pay for the option of having their meals included during their flight when they make their booking or they can purchase from a range of food and beverage items once on board. When pre-selecting the option of having meals, passengers can indicate if they would like vegetarian meals. Pre-purchased meals will include a beverage of the passenger’s choice, which they can select once on board during the meal service. Additional snacks and beverages will be available for purchase inflight. Beverages will include water, juices, soft drinks, tea, coffee and a range of alcoholic drinks.

Economy class passengers who do not pre-select and pay for their meals will be able to purchase a meal during meal services. Please note that without pre-purchase, we can not guarantee your preferred choice of meal will be available.

For flights operated by Jetstar Asia (3K) or Valuair (VF), unless you have special medical or dietary needs, please note that only food and drinks purchased from the cabin crew can be consumed onboard flights.
