A question of wellbeing

Just curious to know:

Following Saturday, did anyone who came to my place find themselves feeling unwell later that night or the next morning? Perhaps with racing heart or symptoms similar to imbibing too much caffeine, including difficulty in sleeping well?

Well, as I mentioned, I certainly did. I was a cranky Jack, as both Raven and Simon can attest. Felt like crap for the last two days, including a headache two days in a row :/ It felt a bit like seratonin overload.

Hmmm, I was fine and dandy….. Must have been something I didn’t eat / drink.

As a note:

Brandy, key ingredient in champagne cocktails, is known to be a heart stimulant and, combined with the all too common headache-like effects of bubbly, is more than capable of producing the types of symptoms you have mentioned.

Let this not deter anyone from drinking brandy, however. It’s my favourite spirit.

But I could be on the wrong track entirely.

That’s good.

Aha. However, by now and I have decided it must be a bug going round, cos we’re still suffering some of the effects. If it was food or drink related, then it would have only lasted 24 hours.

Which is a relief…I was starting to wonder if I had somehow poisoned the chai or something!
