Cool name, crappy illness

With a name such as Labyrinthitis, you’d think it would mean something cool with some Bowie thrown in. Whereas it actually feels like those little fire things have taken my head and are playing their ball game with it; and sometimes, just for extra fun, they make the world into a revolving spinning top. zen_cat is getting practice at catching a swooning girlfriend *laughs* I have been assured in no uncertain terms that he likes me non-swoony best 😀

Still made it to halloranelder‘s birthday, albeit briefly, and Anniene’s housewarming on Saturday. However Sunday was pretty much spent on the couch, over it and wanting my head back to normal.

Now just ten minutes of work and then I can go home and spend the rest of the evening curled up on zen_cat‘s couch, catching up on either Veronica Mars or Harry Potter – depending on whether my head copes best with reading or watching dvds.

halloranelder: I am still coming to collect the dvd player, it just doesn’t look like being this week either 🙁 I’ll arrange it once I’m able to drive again…

Oh dear! Inner ear infections are not fun. *hugs* The independent republic of Ferg does not recommend swooning around anything either glass or flammable. Get well soon!

You poor thing 🙁 You managed to get an infection with a name as intriguing as yourself but certainly nowhere near as pleasant *hugs* and hope you recover quickly

You poor thing! Thank you very much for making the effort to visit Saturday night anyway. It was much appreciated. *hugs*

As for the DVD player, it’s not going anywhere. It will be ready for you whenever, no hurry.

Look universe, we had a deal – time to give lovely Amber a break. No more sickness, however cool the name is, no more money hassles or admin hiccups. I am willing to accept this was an oversight and you will fix it immediately (I am not willing to accept that the universe is not listening to me on this very important matter).

Lots of hugs and sympathy for the swoony girl. xoxoxoxoxo

I;m also staying out of the drivers seat in cars!

Thank you. Shall do.

No roleplaying or indeed any socialising for me this weekend. Resting does make it easier so I plan to spend the whole weekend in bed. I may pout some because and I were going to try out a Point Cook walk this weekend, but then I will be grateful that I have books I want to read and Veronica Mars to get through, finally, so I can give it back to !

Thank you.

Though really, it would be much nicer t not need rescuing in any way shape or form at this point of time. This is just the backlash from July and I’m sure that once my body feels that te message has gotten through to me, it will resume normal functioning capacity.

Thank you. Who knew ear infections could be brought on by stress. What happened to good ol’ fashioned migraines is what I want to know!

gypsyamberAugust 28, 2007 - 2:47 am

Thank you. Was glad to see you having such a good night. It’s great when you have those nights of knowing through and through that moving was the right thing to do 🙂

Hopefully it has started fixing. The Dr I went to today said that I had been given antibiotics which weren’t strong enough and has changed me onto some uber antibiotics.

on the bright side, some FT positions have come up at Melb Uni which casual staff can apply for. Keep your fingers and toes crossed that I get one of the positions I applied for!

lotsa love for the ever compassionate and lovely Daisy Queen oxxoxoxxo
