I start the day after I get back from Japan, as Student Enquiries Officer for the Engineering Faculty of Melbourne University. Now, *this* is right up my alley!
It is. It’s part of the restructuring that melb uni is undergoing right now.
I’m just so grateful to for giving me the casual position that I’ve been at all year, which gave me the toe in the door. Many of the uni positions don’t get advertised outside of uni. As it was, I had to wait until they opened up remaining positions to casual staff.
2 year contract! 2 years of knowing what hours I’ll be working, and having sick leave, annual leave, superannuation and a definite income. Whoot!
You’re most welcome. We need to work out a time for me to drop off your keys, and pick up the dvd player that I forgot about last week! I’m thinking next Tuesday night after work might be the way to go again, if that suits you..?
Awesome! Congrats – it’s nice to go on holiday and have something to look forward to when you get back! 😀
Cue the dancing rodents! 🙂
Especially when it means I get to kiss Satanlink and all their rubbish rules goodbye!!!!
All ready for my dancing cats to snack on 😉
Congratulations darlin’ 🙂
Thank you *grins*

Well done and may I say Wooot!

No such thing as too late for sending congrats!
I am very excited and relieved to know what I’ll be doing, at least job-wise and financially, for the next two years.
No such thing as too late for sending congrats!
Oh good 😀
I checked with Travis to make sure tonight would be good (and it was) and then forgot to reply to tell you.
Doh!
Perhaps another time, or now if you like. Let me know.
I’ll try and stop being a blonde about now.
