apparently I’ve returned looking much more Australian, according to whitmanschild Just how, took a while for him to figure…but eventually he came to the conclusion that it is due to the tan across my breasts (the visible top bits) I believe that would be due to a certain wenchy outfit I was wearing in the sun last weekend *grin* So, now we all know how to look more aussie – just get a tan on our breasts!!!

Yay for Hero! My favourite bits are the duel on the lake, the fight between Moon and Flying Snow in the autumn forest, and the assassination ‘attempt’ by Broken Sword on the Emperor, in the green throne room.
And most of the rest of the movie, in fact.

Several of my friends complained of the ‘rampant Chinese patriotism’ that the movie portrays, but honestly I think it is less offensively patriotic than most western flag-waving anthem-playing pseudo-propaganda flicks.
Besides, it has cool imagery…

yay for hero. sucks for both dvd players not playing it *pout* I think my chinese dvd player is a bit dodge as on about half of what i try to play now, it looks like the tracking needs adjustment. So usually I play things on my laptop but last night it continually froze 🙁 I tried every player programme I have! aghhhh….the frustration and disappointment. To be so tantalisingly close and yet still unable to watch it.
